The Symptomatrix Team / the Marijke Foundation is active worldwide since 2003 in order to help to shorten the pathway to arrive at a diagnosis of two rare conditions: Giant Cell Arteritis and Polymyalgia Rheumatica. With a small team of professionals, we make every effort to reach as many people as possible with their hard-to-recognize symptoms

The “Symptomatrix” was compiled under the editorship of Dr. Ron Voorbij MD PhD and is based on the medical data of 90 patients in the Netherlands, the feedback of dozens of patients in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, patient information from hospitals, clinics and organizations in the Netherlands and abroad, and dozens of validated scientific articles in leading medical scientific journals.This has been laid down in detail in our book “A Matter of Time”.
