Notes Giant Cell Arteritis / PMR

Symptomatrix = Early recognition

As it turns out, it is not always possible to see an interrelationship in complaints and thus recognize AT and PMR early on. Usually without result; the complaints remain or return. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that a diagnosis of AT and/or PMR, and thus adequate treatment and medication, may take (too) long, as well as rapid healing. Consequently, patients often suffer unnecessary aggravation of AT and/or PMR, with all its consequences and risks.
Under the motto “Earlier Recognized, Earlier Diagnosis = Better Prognosis,” the Symptomatrix aims to help overcome these problems and significantly shorten the diagnosis process.
